The leadership and employees at McDonald are committed to our company and to their community through volunteer activities and our “Giving Back” programs. As community members, we feel it is our duty as good citizens to help where we can, especially with construction skills or resources.
McDonald Commercial Roofing Adopts The Roof at the Ronald McDonald House in Lansing.
McDonald Commercial Roofing (no relation to Ronald) is proud to be a supporter, and is thankful to the Ronald McDonald House for the support they provide to sick children and their families.
In coordination with the NRCA (National Roofing Contractors Association) McDonald Roofing has volunteered our resources and services to ensure that the Ronald McDonald House has a strong and safe roof over their head.
The families that this house supports have children in treatment at the nearby Sparrow Hospital, and this resource is invaluable to provide continuity and comfort during a difficult time.
As part of our commitment, McDonald Commercial Roofing will perform ongoing inspections, repairs and eventually a roof replacement when needed. We do this with other suppliers and vendors to help this important organization.
Rebuilding Families Close to Home.
McDonald Commercial Roofing supports the Community Action Agency of Jacksons Adapt a family for Christmas Program.
This past Christmas, McDonald Commercial Roofing adopted two families for Christmas, providing gifts and much needed food and household necessities.
These families are part of the Community Action Agency of Jackson program that is helping them get back on their feet and rebuild their homes and lives. We at McDonald thank our entire team for participating, shopping, donating, supplying food and helping to wrap all of the gifts.
We definitely had a positive impact on these families, and helped to give their kids a great Christmas. Thanks again to all our employees and to the Community Action Agency of Jackson.
Helping the Rotary Club Help the Community.
McDonald Commercial Roofing puts their team to work, building ramps for those with disabilities.
The Rotary Club and Disability Connections program do great work to help Michigan’s disabled community, and we are happy to put our skills to work to help these great organizations. Ramps are critical to providing everyday access and safety for our community members and are a much-needed necessity. Something as simple as getting in and out of your home can make a major difference in someone’s life, providing them the mobility they need for their independence or for basic everyday needs. We are proud to help The Rotary Club and Disability Connections help those in need.
